Crested Gecko Supplement FAQ

Does a crested gecko on a complete diet need vitamins?

Not automatically. Complete crested gecko diets already contain vitamins and minerals. Extras like bee pollen are for feeding interest and variety, not a second full dose.

My crested gecko won't eat. What can I try?

Try several flavors to find one your gecko likes, offer fresh food in the evening, and check temperature and humidity. A gecko that stops eating for a long time should see a vet.

Can I add bee pollen to the food every time?

Follow the bee pollen directions and keep the main diet as the base. Bee pollen adds aroma and variety; it does not replace a complete diet.

Do crested geckos need calcium powder?

Many complete diets already include calcium. If you also feed insects, ask your vet whether to dust them, and which calcium suits your setup.
